Dawn Briskey is a certified end-of-life doula offering in-person and virtual services in the Chippewa Valley of Northwest Wisconsin and beyond.

Dawn is a companion to people who want to be ready for death whenever it comes. As a certified life planning doula, Dawn is passionate about helping people think through and plan for a time when they cannot speak for themselves. She educates her clients on the many choices they have available to them, and helps them find the resources and make the arrangements that are right for them.

Sometimes Dawn's clients are not those who are aging or dying, but their loved ones. Dawn supports and coaches these individuals through their own journeys, provides an outside perspective, and educates them on what to expect each step of the way.

Dawn's work embodies a lifelong commitment to active listening, honoring individual perspectives, and delivering thoughtful care. She knows what it means to experience the illness and death of a dear friend or family member and how hard it is to ask for help.

Dawn transitioned into end-of-life care following a successful 25+ year career in association management, nonprofit leadership, and technology consulting. She brings her skills in leadership, project management, empathy, and service to this profoundly meaningful field.

Dawn is an IDLM Certified Death Doula/End-of-Life Specialist, IDLM Certified Life Planning Specialist, and Doulagivers Certified Doulagiver Practitioner. Dawn also leads an in-person doula training class in Eau Claire, Wisconsin through IDLM.  Additionally, she holds an a NEDA EOL Doula Proficiency Badge. This badge signifies that Dawn has met core competencies in the end-of-life doula field.

Dawn is also a mosaic artist, and weaves this into her work in end-of life when asked.
